Re-engining and Life Expansion Program

Snow Aviation International, Inc. is currently engaged in a detailed re-engining and life extension study of the T-37B "Tweet."   The T-37 fleets in numerous nations are experiencing typical aging aircraft problems.  Many of this aircraft's original systems are neither in production nor supported causing serious maintainability problems for the venerable trainer. SAI's program will install the Williams International FJ-33 turbofan, replace many of the aging systems, and correct known structural concerns for enhanced performance, ease of maintenance and reduced operating costs. SAI has made extensive use of two T-37 aircraft during its powerplant and systems installation trade studies.
