Modern Technology Cockpit (MTC) - The Modern Technology Cockpit is a
digital, flat glass computer integrated cockpit with six
6 inch by 8 inch Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Displays (AMLCDs).
The MTC reduces the workload for the flight crew,
allowing the flight engineer and navigator positions
to be eliminated.
SA-200 Series Aircraft - The SA-200 Series is a twin-engine, short
haul, light-to-medium size cargo feeder/assault transport.
The SA-200 Series is designed to take advantage of
economical construction techniques while providing the
customer with a reliable and extremely rugged aircraft.
The SA-200 is superior to any other aircraft in its class
providing aft ramp loading, rough terrain operational
capability, and low ownership operating costs. A true
multi-purpose transport that can be used for military
operations, cargo feeder, nation builder, and many other
specialized missions.
C-130M Herk "Plus" - The C-130M Herk "Plus" is a
solution to the C-130's current design deficiencies and
increasing its capabilities through modification. The
modifications are available as a total package, or
individually. These modifications include installing the
Allison AE2100 engines or P&WC PW-150A engines, SAI's new
and FAA certified electrical system, Modern Technology Cockpit, fuselage
stretch, tip tanks, aerodynamic clean-up and other
options. In 1996, SAI's C-130M design was proposed to the
US Armed Services to accompany or as a lower cost
alternative to Lockheed's C-130J. As a result, the US Air
Force has recognized the necessity and economic benefits
of updating its C-130 fleet as opposed to purchasing new C-130J
aircraft and intends to modernize the majority of its
existing C-130 fleet to the C-130X configuration.
